Just received via E-mail a survey from WEEI regarding the on-air streaming issue. It appears they’re considering charging for listening to the stream. There were only four questions on the survey, three dealt with how often you listened and the fourth was asking how much you’d be willing to pay for the stream. The choices were $10-$20, $20-$30, and $30-$40.

WEEI has gone between making fun of Dan Duquette and mocking Soccer fans for most of the day. Neumeier and Dickerson did manage to squeeze in segments with legendary Tigers announcer Ernie Harwell and Sean McAdam. The Big Show spent its first segment in “Soccer talk” which was at times, hilarious.

WWZN has the young guns team of Giardi and Simmons along with Sean on the McDonough Group. Mike Gorman was a guest. He said he can’t remember a player ever swinging fan support to his side more than Antoine did in this playoffs season. Paul also got a taste of being “the guy” and now has the summer to simmer and think about that and missed free throws and get better. Gorman said Walker handled the media trash talk with Cliff Robinson very well, didn’t let it get out of control, always praised him, handled it very well. That’s opposed to the situation Paul Pierce got himself into with this comments at the beginning of the NJ series, and had to deal with it every game. Gorman said he felt like Tom Hanks character in “Castaway” rejoining civilization with this years Celtics coming back to prominence. Top three games in 21 years: Bird steals the ball, Regular season game against Portland with Bird hitting shot from corner, and game five against Philly this year. He acknowledged the “conspiracy theorists” are out there and might just have a case.
