Former Worcester Telegram & Gazette Patriots beat writer Ken Powers was acquitted today after being charged with stealing $100,000 from Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton. Powers found not guilty of stealing from Sutton golf course Powers is best known around these parts for being fired from the T&G for plagiarizing Peter King, among others, in 2005.
