Interesting nugget in Sean McAdam’s Red Sox notebook today: “When Nomar Garciaparra homered in the third inning, it snapped a streak of sorts for the Sox. Their previous seven homers had all been hit by right-handed hitters…”

Dale & Neumy were both back in the studio today and baseball was the topic. Neumeier continued where he left off on the baseball show yesterday, by saying how he doesn’t like the Cliff Floyd trade. They compared the Sox rotation and starters three through five specifically, to other clubs around the league. Dale likes Burkett and his 10 wins in the number three spot. Neumeier thinks many clubs have a better three through five than the Sox.
