Michael Felger has not been nominated for the Boston Sports Media Moron Hall of Fame but, he's doing his damnest to get there. He is the engineer of the Koo Koo chu chu that consists of dead weight freight like Gary Tanguay, Tony Maserati, and Nick Cafardo who are calling Jacoby Ellsbury soft because he has not been playing with CRACKED RIBS. I love it when media members whose worst injuries consists of paper cuts or strained vocal cords question the toughness of athletes. Thank God Bob Neumeier was on 98.5 yesterday and called out Felger when he told him if a guy does not play injured they are soft. If they do and are not performing then they hare jaking it. So with Felger, you can't win. I know this is a cheap shot but I would love to see Nick Cafardo bend over and touch his toes. My guess would be an epic fail.
This leads me to my next point which is just how bad Boston sports radio continues to be. In my opinion, there are still only two shows that are worth listening, Dale and Holley and D.A. Two out of eight are worth any value at all. That is dreadful. I cannot believe that I have to go to Maine at WJAB or ESPNradio.com for decent talk. Here in New Hampshire, WGAM will has improved with the removal of Jim Rome but they still only partially have Colin Cowherd and SVP. For some reason, WGAM still has the dreadful Dan Patrick and Mike Mutnansky is sounding more and more like he went to the Glenn Ordway, John Dennis School of Broadcasting. I believe that Hardy and Troupiano should be a weekday staple over Gresh and Zo or Felger and Mazz.
One more item, I disagree with you Bruce when you said that Mike Breen could hardly mask his disappointment over the Celtics winning in six. I believe he was doing what any play by play person does when there is a blowout and that is trying to prevent the clickers from going someplace else. I do not think Breen is stupid. He did Orlando and L.A. last year and there was not a ton of buzz and the series was lackluster. He knows having L.A. vs. Boston will have many more eyes on it. As far as JVG and Mark Jackson getting on Breen, my guess is that ESPN was not overly pleased by it.

I had to turn off the Hub yesterday because of the manufactured story about how Tom Brady is angry with the Pats and is on his way out the door. They just showed why they're so ignorant when it comes to how Kraft and BB run that team.
Talk about your pot-stirring.

I wish that I heard it. My guess is that it was based on nothing.

It's based on this completely speculative article from the aptly named Yahoo Sports:

You should have heard F&G…the ignorance was breathtaking. Felger wants Brady gone so then he can bust on Pats fans because their binky got away and so he can say the Krafts are skinflints who don't know what they're doing.
