Nothing too meaty in the papers from today. Bob Ryan waxes about the institution that is the Atlanta Braves. with July 1st upon us, this is the start to NBA Free Agency. Shira Springer re-writes an article that has been written before many times. Celtics want to re-sign Rodney Rogers. Celtics don’t want to get into the luxury tax. Steve Buckley writes about the success story of Shea Hillenbrand. The front page of the Globe has a story by Scott S. Greenberger who exposes some of the claims of the Harrington regime when it comes to Fenway Park. Greenberger has written five or six Fenway articles in a little over a month. John Molori has a great Media Blitz piece examing the Boston Media’s treatment of Manny Ramirez and John Henry Williams.

A new article is up, this one consists of readers thoughts, feedback and experiences on and with Dan Shaughnessy. Thanks to those who wrote in.

A brief update on the WEEI Streaming Audio issue…Jason Wolfe has posted another update on, it says:

“Unfortunately, there is no new news with regard to our streaming issue.

As I indicated several weeks ago when this process began, there was no specific timetable on when we would be able to return to streaming. Clearly, it is taking longer than we would have hoped.

I will continue to provide you with as much information as possible as it becomes available.

Thank you for your continued support.

Jason Wolfe
WEEI Program Director”
