In another example of the hysteria that the media covering Boston teams loves to create, we have the case of Michael Coleman. Yesterday it was all over he radio waves that Coleman who has seemingly turned his attitude and direction around from his “Prime Time” days, had missed a flight and would not be reporting to Pawtucket on time for his rehab assignment. Hosts, callers, were jumping to judgement on the guy, convicting him before the facts came out. In the Providence Journal today, Paul Kenyon reveals the real story, and Coleman comes off looking even better. Wonder if any apologies to Michael Coleman will be forthcoming from the airwaves today. Don’t hold your breath. By the way, it still looks like the Projo is having formatting issues with its pages.
