The Celtics put together a strong fourth quarter last night, putting away the New Orleans Hornets on the road, 89-77. It wasn’t all good news for the Celtics however, as Ray Allen had to leave the game with a hyperextended thumb. X-rays were negative on the injury. Now both my namesakes on the Celtics have thumb injuries. You can be sure I’ll be watching my step today…
